Valeria Games is a gaming studio that specializes in developing games for both Web2 and Web3 platforms. To expand its reach and engage a broader audience, Valeria Games actively participates in NFT Conventions. During these events, they incentivize participants to follow them on Twitter, alpha test the game, subscribe for airdrops, and purchase their NFTs by offering merchandise in return. I was tasked with designing the packaging for a giveaway booster pack, as well as overseeing the physical and digital cards it contains.
BOOSTER PACKS
Each booster pack contains six trading card versions of the 'Valeria Creatures' NFTs, accompanied by a QR code that enables the recipient to claim the NFT version of the trading card they received in the pack.

These unique Valerians were meticulously designed by the creative team under my leadership. As the creative lead, my responsibilities encompass designing and illustrating the Valerians, as well as editing Valerians created by the team to align with the preferences of the community, collaborative partners, and executives. Additionally, I am tasked with creating a captivating "Card Art" NFT collection that showcases the Valerians alongside their respective statistics.

(Please note that the third evolution is intentionally omitted from the booster pack giveaway to maintain game balance upon launch.)
PHYSICAL CARDS
The thin border of the NFT card art, which was originally designed, could not be printed as the manufacturers required a 1mm margin of error. Consequently, the card art was redesigned with a black border and a gold foil outline. Additionally, Valerians higher than the second evolution were made holographic.
