Valeria Games is a gaming studio that specializes in developing games for both Web2 and Web3 platforms. Their primary objective is to create a seamless and innovative approach for individuals to engage with cryptocurrency-based gaming.

The core of Valeria Games' ecosystem is centered around the utilization of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). A non-fungible token is a unique digital identifier that is recorded on a blockchain, and is used to certify ownership and authenticity. One of my responsibilities is to create an NFT Collecton for Valeria Games.

 

Project: 'Valeria Champions' 

Brief: Create a 'Profile Picture' (PFP) NFT collection for the Valeria Games Genesis Land NFT holders. Must create multiple individual traits that can be randomized to create 1200 unique artworks.

RANDOMIZATION

To create 1200 unique pieces of art, I had to develop a base and multiple traits that can layer on top of each other. The following clip demonstrates how the traits are layered and randomized.

To enable randomization, each trait must be assigned to one of the following categories:

  1. Background

  2. Weapon

  3. Body Base

  4. Eyes

  5. Eyebrows

  6. Mouth

  7. Clothes

  8. Hair

  9. Head Accessory

  10. Ear

A script will select one random trait from each category and layer them on top of each other, starting with the background as the bottommost layer.
